Stephanie Calver (she/her) built her career as leader and coach working in sport, sustainability and education management at the University of Calgary (Office of Sustainability), University of Alberta (Executive Education), Canadian Sport Institute (Pacific), and as an Equine Canada Certified Coach.  Bringing forward 15+ years professional experience in formal leadership roles, her primary focus working with an organization or individual is to create an environment where people feel skilled, mindful, and driven by purpose.

Stephanie continues to build bridges with global thought leaders to elevate the impact of leadership and sustainability in practice.  A lifelong learner, she has presented at the International Leadership Association (ILA) and International Association for Conflict Management (IACM), with a focus on Weaving Leadership and the Role of Emotional Intelligence to Lead through Conflict. Through reflection and a commitment to cultivate aligned action, she encourages her clients to create values-based practices that produce intentional results. Her formal education includes a Master of Arts in Global Leadership from Royal Roads University and Bachelor of Arts in Recreation & Health Education from the University of Victoria.

Certified in the EQ-i 2.0 and EQ 360 tools through MHS, Stephanie shares insights on the many ways wellbeing and emotional intelligence are deeply interconnected, essential skills for leaders of the future. She completed her Coach training program with the Co-Active Training Institute (CTI) as well as the Playing Big Facilitators Training program with Tara Mohr to offer unique practices and tools for women to speak up, create, and lead. She appreciates diving into conversations that unlock inner wisdom and will support you to take courageous leaps forward while at the same time embracing leadership and a regenerative vision of the future.

Based in Calgary, AB, also known as Mohkinstsis on Treaty 7 territory, Stephanie works with clients virtually from all over the globe. In her spare time, she can be found outside tending to the garden, relaxing with tea and a good book, or on a travel adventure with her husband Adam.

It was a pleasure to work with Stephanie at the University of Calgary’s Office of Sustainability. During her time there, she strengthened programs and created an incredible team environment. Of note, she is a natural coach and leader. She helped her team to enhance their individual strengths and learn from experiences. She has strong vision and a notable capacity to see the opportunity in every project or challenge. She is professional, attuned to the needs of others and has a strong ability to read a room.
I would not hesitate to work with her again.
